Why Abhay Deol is Miffed With The Raanjhanaa Director

Despite enjoying a good opening at the box-office and getting positive reviews, Abhay Deol is, I hear, quite miffed with the makers of Raanjhanaa. My spy reveals that the reason is a long monologue of his just before the climax that was axed by director Anand L Rai on the editing table.

Unfortunately Abhay wasn’t even informed that the scene wouldn’t make the final cut :( and I’m told this is why he was AWOL from the films promotions

.
*Aww* bummer director saab! I get that movies have time constraints and all that but whatever your reasons, I really wish you’d kept it in! Aside from missing his pretty mug on the press junket you can never get too much of Abhay Deol if you ask me!
So can someone at least please post the deleted scene on YouTube for me?! Thankyouverymuch! xoxo

Actress Tweets Gun Safety Instead of Gun Control, Looses Half Her Followers

K
Battlestar Galactica actress Katee Sackoff tweeted about gun safety rather than gun control and lost half of her Twitter followers yesterday. Sackoff’s original tweet on June 10 was in response to a story about a 4-year-old boy who fatally shot his father by accident. The boy, who had found the pistol in the family home, picked it up and pulled the trigger – hitting his 35-year-old father. And apparently that’s all it took to irk about 100,000 of her followers – who promptly deleted Sackoff from their feed.

It's a rare bird who loves hanging out at the gym. Most of us count the minutes until the workout's over and we can get on with our (way more fun) day. So the last thing we want to do is spend time using exercise machines that don't do anything for us. While no machine is totally useless if used properly, some just aren't terribly effective, says Lani Muelrath, MA, fitness expert and author of Fit Quickies. Plus, they put you at risk too-great a risk of injury, she says.
Swap out these 10 useless machines for more effective, expert-recommended move:

Useless machine: Leg curl machine

Why it's useless: Your hamstrings perform two movements: knee flexion and hip extension. The leg curl machine works only knee flexion, which limits the benefits, says Muelrath.
What to do instead: Choose a machine or movement that works both hamstring functions at once, such as the fitness ball hip raise and curl. To do: Lie on your back with legs straight, heels on the ball. Raise your hips by pressing your heels into the ball until your legs are straight. Keep your hips raised as you roll the ball in toward you by bending your knees. Continue rolling out and back towards you for 10 to 12 reps.
